The World Procurement Awards are the most sought after and recognised accolade in procurement. Now in their 11th year, the awards represent the most pioneering and innovative teams, individuals and companies across the world.
The awards will be open for submissions earlier than usual this year, in September, with the entry deadline in November. So make sure you start planning with your team which categories will best showcase your excellence.
Remember, it’s quality, not quantity that counts. For the 2017 awards, we recommend you submit no more than 3 entries for review so please choose the categories that will give you the best platform to shout about your successes. From experience, and listening to our judges we believe this will really allow you to dedicate the time and resource to creating a winning entry and demonstrate the innovation and outstanding achievements in your function.

Tom Seal is Head of Executive Research at the Procurement Leaders and is responsible for the delivery of a full suite of Executive and Category level research.
Prior to joining Procurement Leaders in 2010 he spent 10 years working in procurement and management consulting at Shell, Diageo and HSBC. He has practical experience as a category manager for both direct and indirect categories. Particular areas of experience include packaging and software.
Recently, he has overseen research in a number of areas including steel, electricity, packaging, contingent labour and oil and gas infrastructure.
